Culture of Life Program Manager


The University of Notre Dame (ND.jobs) is accepting applications for a Culture of Life Program Manager.

Applications will be accepted until 8/9/2017.

This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the programs and events hosted by the Center for Ethics and Culture that seek to support the culture of life on campus and in the public square, thus advancing Notre Dame's institutional pro-life commitments. This position directs pro-life activity, content, and structure, as well as coordinates logistical details in conjunction with other Center personnel. This position manages the CEC's pro-life interdisciplinary executive training course (the Notre Dame Vita Institute) both on and off campus, as well as the Notre Dame Evangelium Vitae Medal Award (lifetime achievement award for heroes of the pro life movement, administered by the CEC). The Culture of Life Program Manager also oversees Notre Dame's participation in the annual D.C. March for Life (regularly attended by more than 800 students, faculty, staff, and university leadership), including the CEC/ND Alumni Association's D.C. March for Life reception (regularly drawing 400 Notre Dame alumni). This position cultivates relationships with university, community, and national partners regarding pro-life programming on campus and in the public square.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree
1 to 2 years experience

Preferred Qualifications:
Individual must be conversant with, engaged in, and committed to the Catholic moral and intellectual tradition (including its emphasis on Culture of LIfe issues). He or she must have enthusiasm both for communicating this tradition and for engaging productively with current issues in the public square.
