MANAGER/TELEHEALTH PROGRAM

Position Summary:
The Telehealth Program Manager will be part of the Central Michigan University College of Medicine and Health Affairs network. The program manager is responsible for coordinating a comprehensive array of technology services and supports for CMU-based clinical services providers and programs as well as for external partners working with CMU through federally-funded TTAC and HRSA grant initiatives. The program manager will work directly with Principal Investigators (PI) of TTAC and HRSA projects to enhance CMU's telehealth infrastructure and psychiatry/behavioral health outreach services working in collaboration with service providers in rural Central and Northern Michigan. The program manager will work with PI and Co-PI in the development and successful implementation of all new programs and support, maintenance, and optimization of the telehealth program. The telehealth program manager is required to provide the critical technical and program support necessary to sustain the telehealth program.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in health administration, BA/BS in nursing, health informatics, public health, or closely related healthcare field.
Two years of experience working within a telehealth system.
Exposure to clinical operations as it relates to telehealth, patient management and/or EMR systems.
Experience in new program development, outreach or clinical liaison programs.

Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree in closely related field.
Significant involvement in the design and/or implementation of telehealth network
Experience working directly with physicians, clinical teams, nurses, medical assistants and office staff related to telehealth practices.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Works closely with the PI in the development, growth and optimization of the CMU Tel-Behavioral health services and programs.
Responsible for provider outreach, communication plans and technical assistance.
In concert with administrators and physicians, leads continuous refinement and improvement of telehealth operational approaches that reflects and anticipates changes in technology and healthcare delivery systems.
Works closely with PIs to market and successfully sell programs and services to partners through Central and Northern Michigan.
Leads development of key metrics to track and report clinical outcomes.
Develops partnerships with multiple health serving agencies across the State.
Travels throughout Michigan to assist in technology setup.
Other duties as assigned.
