Monogram Club, Intern


The University of Notre Dame (ND.jobs) is accepting applications for a Monogram Club, Intern.

Applications will be accepted until 7/30/2017.

This position will work in conjunction with Monogram Club staff on event planning - management and execution - particularly during football season and to include board meetings, Monogram Jacket ceremonies, Fourth Quarter Farewell and other events. Collaborate with Monogram Club staff in hosting board members, current and former student-athletes, University benefactors and special guests of the athletics department. Play a vital role in the organization of regional events, team reunions and anniversary celebrations. Manage the day-to-day operations and implementation of updates to Sports Heritage Hall. Coordinate with numerous departments within athletics and across campus in areas such as Student Welfare & Development, Development, Donor Services and the Alumni Association. Assist in the creation of unique marketing and communication materials to help drive membership and further engagement with Monogram Club members. Track the daily interactions of Monogram Club staff with Monogram Club members, specifically related to event follow-up, Monogram Career Network programming and noteworthy phone calls, meetings and e-mails. Assist in the management and creation of content for Monogram Club social media accounts and website. Record official board meeting minutes and notes. Research sensitive issues and assist in drafting communications on behalf of the Monogram Club responding to member inquiries. Assist in resolving issues related to membership accounts and dues renewal.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree required. Strong writing, communications and organizational skills. Understanding of social media. Ability to work independently under tight deadlines with limited supervision required. Flexibility to work nights and weekends in order to cover events, with minimal travel. Knowledge of NCAA, ACC and University rules and regulations.
