Position Summary Information

The successful candidate must demonstrate experience, skills, and commitment to fostering an environment of belonging, diversity, equity and inclusion.
Must have the ability to teach in both a classroom and clinical setting and be particularly adept in the areas of Medical/Surgical Nursing.

Maintain professional development to assure currency within field of practice.
Possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and spring/summer.


Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
Current or obtainable Michigan License.
Minimum of three years clinical experience in the acute care hospital setting specifically in the area of Medical-Surgical Nursing.
One Year of college level didactic and/or clinical teaching.

Additional Experiences Considered
Pedagogy is informed by belonging, equity, diversity and inclusion.
Experience with accreditation.
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
Bilingual
