Retail Associate (AuBon Pain DeBartolo Coffee Cart , Part-Time)

The University of Notre Dame (ND.jobs) is accepting applications for a Retail Associate (AuBon Pain DeBartolo Coffee Cart , Part-Time).

The successful candidate will provide the Notre Dame community and guests with the very best in foods and services and make all guests feel welcome by providing a warm, friendly atmosphere and being responsive to the changing needs and desires of our customers. The successful candidate will also be responsible for performing all tasks relating to retail including safety and sanitation of food service facilities which includes food prep areas, storage areas and guest areas. Responsibilities may include operating a cash register & recording guest orders while accurately tendering sales, assembling and preparing guest orders while following proper brand procedures and specifications, food prep and dish washing.
There is a preferred candidate for this position.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent; Positive interpersonal and organizational skills needed to deal courteously and effectively with a diverse group of people. Must be able to work both independently or in a team situation, stand for long periods at a time, lift 40 pounds, take initiative and multi-task, work a flexible schedule and be able to pass the Hazard Communications and Personal Protective Equipment exam.

Preferred Qualifications:
Food Service experience in a caf, restaurant or quick service establishment.
