Key job responsibilities include: teaching 18 units per year; conducting and publishing high quality academic research in peer-reviewed journals; and meaningfully participating in department, school, university, and community service activities.

Required Qualifications: Applicants must possess a doctorate in organizational behavior, management, organizational psychology, social psychology, human resource management, or related discipline by August 1, 2023. Of note, we are not seeking Hospitality applicants at this time. Additionally, you need to demonstrate evidence of a commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and service. Finally, as a Jesuit institution, USF embraces diversity, equity, and inclusion. Applicants must be committed to social justice and demonstrate their ability to work with a diverse group of students, faculty, and staff. Applicants must have a strong equity lens supportive of USF's Jesuit mission, exemplifying cultural humility, and possessing a proven record of embracing differences and creating safe inclusive spaces and working environments.

At the heart of the Humanistic Management and Hospitality department is a shift in the understanding of the function and purpose of organizations. Simply put, organizations should work for human beings, not the other way around. Our department aims to make organizations more humane by teaching and embodying humanistic management practices. We have one undergraduate major in Management, one undergraduate major in Hospitality, and one graduate program in Organization Development. We also teach several courses in the part-time, full-time, and Executive MBA programs.
