Director of Student Health Service
Oberlin College & Conservatory, a private liberal arts college and conservatory of music in Oberlin, Ohio, invites inquiries, nominations, and applications for its director of student health services (CAPS). This is an in-person leadership role.

The director of student health services at Oberlin leads and oversees all activities and staff of student health services including clinical, outreach, budgetary, and office functions. This position provides vision, leadership, and coordination of all student health services for diverse multicultural campus constituencies and provides a welcoming, student-centered, supportive atmosphere for students in need of personal support. The director reports to the assistant vice president for student health and wellbeing and oversees a staff of six and a budget of approximately $1 million.

Qualifications
Education:
Current/valid RN license in the state of Ohio, or license-eligible. A minimum of five years of broad or specialized professional experience as a nurse. A minimum of three years as a registered nurse. Excellent clinical, organizational, and administrative skills. Ability to work independently. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, students, faculty, and other health care professionals.
*A nurse practitioner is strongly preferred.
Experience:

Minimum seven years of experience in health services, including three to five years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Previous experience in college/university health services preferred.
