Job Summary

The University of Utah Autonomic Clinic is a specialty outpatient Neurology Clinic housed at the Imaging and Neurosciences Center (INC) on 729 Arapeen Dr. As a subspecialty section of the General Neurology Division, we specialize in neurological disorders that affect the autonomic nervous system, including autonomic neuropathies, autonomic failure (such as Multiple System Atrophy or Pure Autonomic Failure), Parkinson's disease associated autonomic dysfunction, and Postural Tachycardia Syndrome (aka POTS). As such, our clinical team helps consult on, and manage, a wide variety of autonomic nervous system symptom presentations. Our clinical setting provides access to a multidisciplinary team of providers, including coordinated care with physical therapy, social work, and pharmacy to help meet the needs of our patients. Patients being evaluated by the Autonomic Clinic may also receive evaluation and management for other concurrent neurological issues, commonly encountered in a general neurology practice, including headaches, neuropathy, syncope, chronic dizziness, tremor, etc.
We are seeking a skilled and passionate clinician to join our clinical team. While prior experience and/or familiarity with neurological care is preferred, additional training is also available for those with demonstrated aptitude and interest in the care of complex and/or chronic conditions, including the nuances of diagnosis and management of autonomic disorders.
