Job Description

The Medical Trainee Research Coordinator supports student research initiatives by ensuring regulatory compliance, facilitating mentorship, and managing partnerships with research facilities locally and nationwide. The Medical Trainee Research Coordinator collaborates with UNR Med Student and Curricular Affairs to ensure student research and scholarly activity participation is aligned across the MD program. The position works with leadership, including the Associate Dean of Student Research to implement the vision and direction.

Program Coordinator
The Program Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative oversight and support for program operations, including coordinating events, managing documentation, maintaining databases, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. They serve as the primary point of contact for program inquiries, facilitating communication between stakeholders, participants, and leadership while developing and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external partners. The Coordinator implements outreach strategies to promote program visibility, manages recruitment efforts, and coordinates program activities including orientations, meetings, and special events. They are responsible for collecting and analyzing program data, preparing assessment reports, tracking outcomes, and making recommendations for program improvements based on evaluation findings. Additionally, the Coordinator takes on special projects as assigned, assists with budget monitoring, and provides general support to ensure the successful implementation of program initiatives and achievement of objectives.

Senior Program Coordinator

The Senior Program Coordinator leads and manages comprehensive program operations, providing strategic oversight of administrative functions, budget management, and program development while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance requirements. They independently develop and implement program policies, procedures, and best practices, while serving as a key point of contact for high-level stakeholders and managing complex relationships with internal departments and external partners. The Senior Coordinator designs and executes strategic outreach initiatives, oversees recruitment efforts, and directs program activities while mentoring junior staff and coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve program objectives. They spearhead program assessment and evaluation efforts, analyzing complex data sets, preparing comprehensive reports for leadership, and making strategic recommendations to enhance program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement. Additionally, the Senior Coordinator manages special projects, oversees budget planning and monitoring, develops funding proposals, and provides expert guidance to resolve escalated issues while serving as a subject matter expert in their program area.
