Job Description

The Manager, CTE Early College Campus Dual Credit Programs is responsible for coordinating, expanding, developing, managing, and maintaining Early College programs to include, but not limited to, Jumpstart, CTE, dual enrollment, and dual technical credit, and early college academy initiatives for the assigned and or designated campus service region and sites. This is a professional position reporting to the WC Campus Vice President. The incumbent works closely with partner schools in the service region to build high school student enrollment and create pathways to enrollment following high school graduation. The position ensures that the early college dual, concurrent programs are administered in accord with agreed upon memorandums of understanding and SOPs. As an advocate for students, the manager is a lead administrator within the Campus Vice President's unit and Summerlin and Western High-Tech Center sites whose primary job is to promote and help coordinate participating students.

The ideal candidate should possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
  • Successful completion of early college, concurrent, and dual enrollment coursework.
  • Exposure and engagement to CSN postsecondary options and career opportunities.
  • Students' successful transition to CSN.
  • Strong ability to communicate verbally and in writing with high school administrators, faculty, and students.
  • Versed in high school CTE pathways leading to industry certifications and associates degrees.
  • Public speaking ability.
  • Knowledge of financial aid and scholarship opportunities.
  • Excellent program coordination skills, including demonstrated record of completing tasks on time, with minimal supervision, and with attention to details.
  • Ability to build relationships, deal tactfully and communicate effectively and sensitively with both high school, home schools' associations, charter schools, and college administrators, faculty, students, and the public to advance CSN early college priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.


Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in counseling, social work, education, business, or related field from an accredited college/university OR equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • 3 years' experience developing academic and programmatic partnerships between 2/ 4-year college and service area high schools.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in higher education, counseling, business administration, or related field a related field from an accredited college/university OR equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Previous experience working in a Community College setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications in Spanish.


Salary Information:
Administrative Faculty D - The starting salary is $75,564
